UniMed Cult Cartel – Naming Names – Australia NZ

Universal Medicine Affiliated Medical Professionals, Allied Health Professionals, Complementary Health Practitioners, Unqualified ‘Healers’, Meditation groups & businesses referring to UM practitioners in Australia and New Zealand

In 2018, Benhayon v Rockett victory at last & the way forward the Supreme Court of New South Wales found Universal Medicine to be a socially harmful cult, a healing fraud that harms people, and an organisation that preys on cancer patients.

Practitioners and groups listed are recruiters for the Universal Medicine Cult and promoters of its fraudulent therapies. Unqualified ‘healers’ listed believe themselves to be accredited ‘Esoteric Healing’ practitioners through Universal Medicine’s bogus accreditation body, the Esoteric Practitioners’ Association.

See Naming Names international page for recruiters and practitioners outside Australia and New Zealand

Please use the Contact tab or the comments box below to inform us of practitioners or organizations receiving referrals from or referring to Universal Medicine practitioners.

Note that it is unlawful for unregistered practitioners to practice acupuncture in Australia.

For members of the public/patients who have been adversely affected by Universal Medicine practitioners, please refer to the Official Complaints posts to learn how you may report practitioners you believe have behaved unethically or in a way that had adverse consequences for your health. You may make a complaint to AHPRA or the HCCC on behalf of another person and without their consent.

For patients seeking assistance from a registered healthcare professional, such as a psychologist, physiotherapist, acupuncturist etc., check the AHPRA register to see if the practitioner is registered, and then find out if they have any association with UM.

  1. marie condon says:

over the past 12months I have had the great benefit of chakra puncture and other gentle treatments from Universal medicine practitioners.
they are the most effective treatments one could try because they work on all levels. My health has improved greatly and I am learning to take much better care of myself. I have never observed one practitioner to be anything but caring and professional. I don’t get what this site is about, There is nothing to complain about.m

    • Darkly Venus says:

      Hi Marie,

Thanks for commenting. You may notice there are no other comments from Esoteric practitioners or customers, so thank you for taking the trouble.

We hear a lot about positive experiences like yours from UM customers on the UM blogs, but unfortunately none of those customers/practitioners are willing to answer our questions.

I don’t expect you to answer questions about your medical history here, but I question those health benefits you attest to. For me to be convinced of UM modality’s efficacy I’d like to know what signs and symptoms have improved, how much they improved, and how much treatment you paid for to achieve what you say is an improvement in your health. Then I’d compare that to competing modalities and look at whether you could have experienced more or better improvement with less treatment, less financial investment and without indoctrination.

We have a serious problem with the toxic indoctrination that comes with Eso therapies. Esoteric ideology is anti-family, portrays the human body as nothing more than a repository for negative energy, is sexist, encourages disordered eating, is denying of basic human attributes such as emotion and glorifies death. Etcetera.

I’ve heard countless stories of serious deterioration among UM customers in terms of health, finances, relationships and psychological states. Many of our readers will be upset by your testimony when they are witnessing their loved ones deteriorate before their eyes. They have not been allowed to discuss negative experiences of UM or make comments or criticisms on the UM sites.

The other concern is that you can visit this site and not get what it is about or what there is to complain about – when it’s spelled out very clearly, with evidence. Either you haven’t read much here or on the Universal Medicine Accountability blog or you have a problem with cognitive dissonance.

What you’re saying is that you don’t have a problem with inappropriate touching, over servicing, deceptive advertising, attempts by the UM hierarchy to silence criticism and questions, including with false legal complaints, harassment of critics, professional misconduct, young girls staying unaccompanied at Serge Benhayon’s home, glorification of death etc.

Let us know if you’d like to answer some more specific questions about your Esoteric experience. We might start with how much you’ve donated to the UM charities so far?

“she did however show us to a room in the stable block and I provided her with a copy of our confirmation which clearly said we had two dogs. Shortly after this the owner Janet Williams arrived and said the dogs could not stay in the room, she became quite hysterical and wanted us to lock our dogs in a kitchen in another building for the night or make them sleep in the car which we refused, she had made us feel so uncomfortable I said that if she could find us suitable alternative accommodation we would leave. She could not find anything and calmed down slightly and said as our dogs had already contaminated her room we could stay. Unsurprisingly we only stayed the one night and returned home after the dog show preferring a long drive home rather than stay in such an unwelcoming environment. Pet owners beware.”

“As someone who has travelled the world and been welcomed by Buddhist, Taoist and Ayurvedic hosts, I find it hysterical that a small cafe in rural Somerset can choose to display such awful customer service and hide behind some partially understood values which, at there core, demand tolerance, inclusiveness and warmth. Your menu can serve anything you choose to display, but if the core values are missing, you have little to hide behind. I am disappointed by the lack of understanding in their own core values and the prejudice to those with children. The owners may find that the path to true enlightenment is not artisan teas and coconut milk rather a smile, a welcoming word and someone to take your order.”

Gosh what is happening to people or maybe it’s still more of the same people with strong views on religion , spirituality how the body works about healing etc . I have written a small book on healing and know that the body can heal itself because thats the way we were made but if i did get sick theres no way i would deny my body the healing benefit of massage or acupuncture etc sad to see so many confused people having to follow a cult most confused people are frightened people who simply don’t know how to love themselves on a deeper level no fear =no disease no bitterness = no disease etc etc etc and sad to say my granchildren live in Goonellabah hope they dont get too close to Universal Medicine and its leader

[Thanks for your comment Rhonda. I removed your surname. I don’t allow people to use my blogs to advertise their products.Esther]

“The potential of media is big – we can misuse it for self-interest or use it for the true development of each other. What do we communicate 24/7? As media creators, how do we contribute to the current media that has ‘normalised‘ child pornography, violence, and disregard? LDY is dedicated to work with the true potential and raise awareness of the misuse.”

They’re still at. Where in the media has “child pornography” been “normalised”?? Not only the usual bullshit false dilemmas being ‘solved’ by Serge, but the usual focus on children. So wrong.

As the masters of disregard of everyone else, the cultists should take a long hard look in the mirror and feel the absolute shame they have brought upon themselves with the long overdue and well-deserved media attention.

      Ship of fools.

  23. Allycn says:

Looking back at cults like Hamilton Byrne’s The Family, Satyananda’s ashram and other sects that have been exposed, there’s a common theme. People working in job roles with a duty of care drinking the figurative kool aid of these brain washing groups. Whistle blowers and victims being ignored, minimised or targeted when exposing them. I hope police, government department workers and health workers are paying attention to these sorts of situations in future.

Is there any Clarence valley councillor associated

    • Esther Rockett says:

Not that I know of. You can help yourselves to find out by googling any suspect’s names together with keywords like ‘Serge Benhayon’, ‘Esoteric’ that kind of thing, or asking the person if they have attended any UM events or have any financial affiliation with UM or its associates. I no longer have time to do this for people unpaid – I’m relying on public to help now.

    Bruce Ramus

    • Anon says:

I have heard that too, and he owns many public screens Federation and Prahran Square and Banjul Place. Not good.

      • Esther Rockett says:

I see Bruce Ramus is associated with Esoteric warbler Tina Kopa. I don’t put followers on the Naming Names page unless there’s evidence they’re promoting UM publicly or in their workplace… The idea is to tackle recruiters not just out followers. If you have any links to him doing that drop them here or in the contact form. Ta.

Here he is by the way. First shot, onstage with the guru and colleagues Ben Hurt, Rachel Kane, Catherine Wood, Tina Kopa, plus brainless Melbourne psychologist Cynthia Hickman.

  27. Lady says:

Jo Frare once a psychologist at Lismore base and an active member of UniMed (appearing in UniMed videos) was also a prolific drug taker (the idea was that she HAD been a heroin addict when she was younger and had evolved into a stronger and more experienced, centred and sober individual…and a knowing and understanding practitioner. This presentation was entirely untrue, Jo was an ice user, who also assaulted her partner physically on numerous occasions which are a matter of record with the police and ultimately saw her appear in court in 2018.

    • Lies, lies and more lies. says:

Yet more reinvention of history by the UM flock. I guess when Sergio is your leader, with his checkered past reimagined as it is, it’s only natural that the faithful feel it’s ok today revise their own history themselves.

Whatever next? Claims that the dirge of Glorious music has actual won a Grammy? Or Nat Benhayon’s tv show (remember that shit?) won an Emmy.

The truth is always a fantasy with UM.

lol, come down for sure – and a long way to fall yet. once he’s penniless, barefoot and homeless then we’ll know he’s where he’s meant to be. sliding around with the snakes and all the other scum in the dirt.

  32. RHW says:

Apparently one is running an airbnb in Richmond Hill (free on street parking). Do you get a breast massage with every booking?

  33. Cherie Williams says:

There are several RN’s and other practitioners working in Lismore and surrounds , that are not listed

  34. Cherie Williams says:

Thank you Esther , UM is endemic in NNSWLHD, particularly in the most vulnerable and disadvantaged populations of society, if they are involved in a cult – it should be disclosed on their registration and websites , informed consent of cult associations should be discussed prior to any treatment for any purpose public or private and particularly the UM members who work for Employee Assistance Program for NNSWLHD

My sister and niece are on this list and makes me so sad that two intelligent women have handed over their brains to Serge and UniMed.
