State MP for Lismore Janelle Saffin has introduced a private members’ bill calling for a judicial inquiry into Universal Medicine’s ‘pernicious influence’ on the community. It can’t come soon enough. Universal Medicine continues to deploy its promoters into community organisations, including NSW’s State Emergency Service (SES). That’s business as usual for the cult. Serge and his sales contingent obstinately refuse to acknowledge any of the serious issues surrounding their activities.
Former Sydney tennis coach turned self-styled spiritual healer Serge Benhayon has suffered a spectacular loss in his Supreme Court defamation case against a former client, after a four-person jury found it was true to say he led a “socially harmful cult”, “intentionally indecently touched” clients and made “bogus healing claims”…
Ms Rockett’s solicitor, Stewart O’Connell of O’Brien Solicitors, said the verdict was a “victory against a Goliath organisation by a woman who refused to be bullied” and was a “vindication of Ms Rockett”. Sydney Morning Herald, 15 October 2018
Update: You can download a copy of the Supreme Court’s final determination at this link: https://www.caselaw.nsw.gov.au/decision/5c772e44e4b0196eea404c09#
I’ve also published an article on how to use the court’s orders to protect your community.
25 March: SLAPP SLAPP SLAPPITY SLAPP – Universal Law solicitors’ shenanigans
9 March: The Universal Medicine cult’s facade of ‘energetic integrity’ continues to crumble with the latest findings against their bent operations and operators. In the past months, the College of Universal Medicine had its deductible gift recipient status cancelled by the Australian Tax Office; one of the cult psychologists was formally disciplined over her promotions of her grubby guru; Serge Benhayon’s reputation and risk management providers were arrested for alleged fraud and money laundering and the cult’s golden boy pharmacist, Michael Serafin is under investigation for his dispensing processes in the wake of an adverse pharmaceutical event.
I’ve put together a DIY notifications post on the Accountability blog to assist those of you who wish to continue the work of exposing the Universal Medicine cult and bringing it to account. Having worked hard at this since September 2012, I’ve seen a series of complaints, notifications and submissions through to conclusion, and garnered some significant support and media coverage. However, it’s time I devoted my energy to other projects.
